Have you observed how a revolution in computing has completely redesigned air travel and hospitality in the past decade? Behind all of this is New Jersey’s own Nicholas Bredimus. This resourceful man has become a standout in many areas, from the designer home market via the essentials of safety in the air to software programs to save resources and time. He’s brought remarkable energy to all these areas, too.

His heritage reveals everything you ought to know concerning his talents and how much he has accomplished. His line can trace its antecedents as far back as the era of Rome’s glory and proudly boasts a broad mix of nationalities. His maternal family originates from Scotland and Germany. Luxembourg and England, meanwhile, provided home to his father’s family, although the family emigrated at the end of the 19th century. This determined spirit came to the fore following their arrival in the U.S.A. Nicholas, together with his two brothers and four sisters, was born to a father who worked as a mechanical design engineer and his wife, a practicing nurse. He would come to live in Arizona, Kansas City, Texas and Virginia.

What did Bredimus do to capitalize on his background and education? He would soon embark on a string of high powered posts, all working with major airlines. Mr Bredimus became a vice president with businesses like Hughes Airwest, Republic Airlines, and Trans World Airlines (TWA). Most noteworthy, however, is his achievement as a productive programmer for the airline industry.

He is probably most renowned for the aircraft maintenance management software he invented for US Airways, which eventually became an industry standard. He would go on to examine recording and making bookings. For both hotels and air travel he designed software systems to deal with most of the work that had been involved prior to this approach. He also produced a piece of software named QuikTix, the first automated ticket sales network. Nicholas Bredimus leveraged these successes to advance into posts which weren’t connected to software development, and went on to make a name. Nicholas Bredimus managed American Express’ IT division, started up Bredimus Systems in 1993, and had the honor of becoming the first president of a major American Airlines division. And is he still active? Very much so - his smarts are ready to answer the call in spite of his leaving prior interests behind. He is now trying to solve the architectural concerns behind the development of environmentally friendly, hitech top quality homes. All of which goes to show just how much a laser targeted energy can actually achieve.
